(Flagstaff prepares all year for this, they do a phenomenal job with dinner, music, decorations...it is worth it!)

It is a more casual setting then school proms, where the youth do not have to worry about standards

When: Friday April 16th

(Mingus Unions HS prom is Saturday April 10th)
Where: With Flagstaff stake (see posters hanging in buildings)

Time: 6:30-11:00pm

Price: $10 a couple

*The stake will not be covering the cost of couples this year, nor will we be setting people up on "dates",the youth are responsible for getting themselves there and back as well!

New Beginnings: "Be Strong and of Good Courage"

The Beautiful Young Women of Montezuma Ward held their New Beginnings Program last evening

January27, 2010
What a perfect way to start out the NEW YEAR!!!

Their YW Presidency sure helped to pull it off-and make it a FUN and SPIRITUAL evening!

Their night consisted of:

*Opening remarks from their NEW YW PRESIDENT (welcome, welcome Sister Ragan) on the program of personal progress and the changes that have been made this year (new manual, new medallion w/virtue bead, the bee charm) She also invited all the YW to participate in the program and gave 4 Young Women their YW torch pendant.

* Tiana speaking on how personal progress has blessed her life (she is the oldest Young Women AND has received her medallion).

* Young Women singing a musical number "Daughter of a King".

*Bishop Kleinman speaking on how personal progress can help them know who they are and help them prepare to be wives, mothers and make covenants in the temple.

*A chocolate Fountain with LOTS of dipping goodies.

*Camera FUN

We ARE excited for this year and to see your progression!
